Purpose:
Check the storage temperature
Implementation:
To ensure that the storage cells have the correct temperature it is important that the temperature sensors are working properly. By comparing the temperature (thermometer) to display value (system), it can be assessed whether the measurements are correct and thus the storage temperature as well.
Check the measured value against the system value. The may be max 1 degree difference in temperature.
Actions by abnormalities:
When there is a difference greater than 1 degree:
- Check if the cell is in the defrost period, if so, re-measure after the defrost period.
- If this is not the case, the sensors should be adjusted again. This should be done through contact with the supplier.
- As long as the storage temperature does not exceed the maximum standard values, the cell can remain in use. However, the temperature should be verified 3 times a day.
- At temperatures above the norm, the product temperature must be verified. See the procedure for this!
