Concerns: Entry check
Entry check: general points of concern for the delivery of raw materials, packaging material, and other products.
Quantity
- Delivered what has been ordered (correct product, numbers, or weights).
- Correct packing units.
Quality
- Complies with quality standards.
- Follows the specifications.
- Correct quality.
- Correct certificates or accompanying documents if applicable.
- For claims / product authenticity: correct statements on labels and documents.
Safety
- Correct temperature and no signs of, for example, thawing or freezer burn, a lot of condensation;
- Free from vermin or traces thereof;
- Well packaged, no open or damaged packaging;
- Correct coding and shelf life;
- No broken seals or other deviations that indicate possible tampering (food defense) or fraud.
Temperature control
- The temperature is measured with a calibrated thermometer.
- This thermometer is disinfected before and after use.
- The following temperature requirements are observed:
- Frozen products 18°C, maximum -15°C.
- Refrigerated products maximum +7°C or lower if required by product (specification) or otherwise by law.
Actions by abnormalities at the entry check
Do not accept the product. Contact the supplier. In the case of abnormalities in regard to quantity, it can be decided to still accept the delivery in whole or in part.
