The NABC Event

On the 24th of November, the joined NABC’s annual Ambassador dinner at the Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wassenaar. After listening to some speeches from NABC and Netflix Africa, we got into the one-on-one sessions; those were with the 26 African embassies who were present. Before, participants could already choose three embassies they wanted to talk to. In our , that was, amongst others, Botswana, Uganda, and Egypt. It was interesting to engage with all the different county representatives as well as see familiar faces again from the other we joined.

Doing Business in Africa Award

Later on, there was the DBA award ceremony. The three finalists were Syngenta, Tunga and Signature. Tunga was, in the end, awarded the Doing Business in Africa (DBA) price.  The night ended with a 3-course meal dinner, and seats were assigned in order to network with other participants and ambassadors. The was successful. We made some new connections, met previously made contacts and enjoyed ourselves.
